These Terms are an agreement between you and Michael Fountain, who operates Yuhpp ("Yuhpp," "we," "us"). They cover yuhpp.com, the Yuhpp app, and the Good company community. By creating an account or using Yuhpp, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Yuhpp.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Yuhpp. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms for you.
Use an email address you control and keep your password private. Accounts are for one person and cannot be shared. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone else has gotten into it, tell us right away at michael@yuhpp.com.
Yuhpp is a job search system: guided steps in a set order, checkpoints that tell you when to move forward, and a workspace that keeps your resume and your work in one place. The guided steps are powered by AI.
Yuhpp is free for individuals. To keep it free, each account has a monthly limit on guided step runs, currently 75 runs per month. We may change limits and features over time. If we ever introduce paid features, we will show you the price first, and we will never charge you without your agreement.
Your free account is for your own job search. Using Yuhpp to run or support job searches for other people as part of a business or program, such as career coaching, outplacement, a school, or an HR team, requires a license from us. Email michael@yuhpp.com or visit the For HR Teams page.
You own what you bring to Yuhpp and what you create there: your resume, your saved work, your messages, and the replies generated for you. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content only as needed to run Yuhpp for you, including sending it to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy. That permission ends when your content is deleted.
You are responsible for your content. Only upload information you have the right to use, and take care with personal details about other people, such as your references.
Yuhpp's methodology, guided steps, the instructions and prompts behind them, software, design, and brand belong to Michael Fountain and are protected by law. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use them through the app for your own job search. You may not:
Use Yuhpp to present your real experience well, not to invent it. You are responsible for everything you send to employers, including resumes, messages, and answers a step helped you write. Do not use Yuhpp to break the law, harm others, send spam, or misrepresent who you are.
Yuhpp uses AI, and AI can be wrong. A step may misread a posting, get a company detail wrong, or suggest something that does not fit you. Review everything before you rely on it or send it.
Yuhpp gives guidance, not professional career, legal, financial, or immigration advice. The Match Meter score is an estimate to help you decide where to spend your time. We cannot promise interviews, offers, a salary, or any other result. Your search decisions are yours.
Yuhpp may point you to job boards, company sites, and other services run by other people. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.
Good company is an optional community on WhatsApp. What you post there is visible to other members, and WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply. Be respectful, keep other members' information private, and do not spam or sell. We may remove anyone who does not follow these rules.
If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them to improve Yuhpp without any obligation to you.
Yuhpp is a young product and will change. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may pause or end the service. We will try to give reasonable notice of major changes. If we end the service, we will give you a way to get a copy of your content when we reasonably can.
You can stop using Yuhpp at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing michael@yuhpp.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts Yuhpp or other people at risk. The sections on content, honest use, AI output, disclaimers, liability, your responsibility, and governing law continue to apply after your account ends.
Yuhpp is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that Yuhpp will be uninterrupted, error free, or secure.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Michael Fountain and Yuhpp will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data, arising from your use of Yuhpp. Our total liability for any claim relating to Yuhpp is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 50 US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
If your misuse of Yuhpp or your breach of these Terms leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of that claim, including legal fees, to the extent the law allows.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in San Diego County, California, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If you live somewhere that gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts, these Terms do not take that right away.
We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top, and if a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Yuhpp after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Yuhpp. If part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer these Terms to someone else. We may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of Yuhpp.
